A large enemy weilding an equally large axe. What they lack in their sluggish movement they make up for their devastating strength and shocking range.
Their attacks are fairly slow with a wide range. Dodging away from them is recommended if you are unable to block.
They will also occassionally punch which inflicts a faint status effect. They will normally follow the faint punch with their strongest attack meaning that avoiding the punch is crucial for survival.
Their charged attack is an enhanced version of the standard axe swing, which can result in a decapitated player.
Later incarnations of this mob will have a frighteningly powerful, additional area of effect attack capable of inflicting a slow status effect. The slow effect also decreases your armor to 0 for 4-6 seconds, which usually invites death if they can land an another attack. The range on this attack is large and can be tricky to avoid.
